lessons in elocution?

I don’t think so

let my slang hang from my psyche

In all manners that it so desires

dictated circumstantially

it’s not how you say it

the meaning has priority

not a thought of the majority

who speak so elegantly

and judge so instantaneously

but I refuse to be

what you see fit

I like to use the word ‘innit’

you focus on that last word

a prerogative so absurd

don’t you see?

your beautifully pronounced statement

goes in one ear

and out the other

as you move on

to judge another
